In the report some interesting commercial fishing recommendations are provided at recommendations 37 – 46.

Chapters 7 and 8 relate to commercial fishing. Some discussion about compensation is included, which is a subject at the top of the list for many.

From this we may see some innovation within the Department’s current practices and hopefully a strengthening of the commercial fishers rights.
